Firstly, we hope all our customers, friends and families are safe during this time. We've had some questions about how to renew while we are closed, so we thought we'd send a quick update.
How to renew
While we are closed, we have a small team collecting the post and distributing it to the relevant departments. Members who have not yet renewed may do so by either sending their renewal form along with payment details to the station, or dropping it in the external letterbox outside the main station building. The easiest way to pay is by including a cheque in with your form (which also gives us some extra needed funds during the lockdown period). If you do not have a chequebook, please include your card details on the form, but please note these cannot be processed until we are open again and we can access the station building.
If you wish to receive your 2020/2021 membership card, then please include a stamped address envelope, too, otherwise your card will be sent as usual when normal mailings resume.
If you have lost your renewal form, please contact Nick Hill directly, or use the membership section of the contact us form on the website, to be resent the PDF versions of the form to print.
We always welcome new members, even during lockdown! For £25 a year for adults (discounted to £38 for a couple), or reduced rates of £17 for over 65s and £11 for juniors, you are entitled to free travel on almost all operating days (galas are the main exception), as well as quarterly copies of Chaloner magazine and more.
In addition it allows you to volunteer on our line. The membership form for new members can be downloaded here. You can send it to us, or drop it in to our external letterbox at Page's Park Station along with either a cheque (which we are able to process during lockdown and will greatly help us with cash flow), or your card details (which will be processed once we are back up and running), We look forward to having you onboard.
