Diesel Gala

Our ever-popular Diesel Gala returns for 2026, promising a full day of action with up to 15 locomotives (all subject to availability) running a variety of services throughout the day.
Expect an intensive timetable featuring:
• 6 passenger trains
• 3 skip freight trains
• Loco changes throughout the day
• Double and triple-headed trains
• A recreated simplex skip train
• “Driver for a Fiver” experiences (book on day)
• 10RB display
• Industrial train displays in both the top and bottom yards
• Continuous movement along the display line from Stonehenge to Munday’s Hill
…and plenty more to see and enjoy!

We will also have rovers available. Please note that rover tickets can only be bought at the booking office on the day. Passengers holding timed tickets take priority for seating on the train.

Important Information
• 80 Beaudesert will act as the backup locomotive and is scheduled for “Driver for a Fiver” duties. If needed elsewhere, this activity may be paused or cancelled. If you’ve already booked, please speak to station staff for available options.
• As always, all locomotives and services are subject to availability, depending on operational needs and volunteer support. Every effort will be made to run as advertised.
