Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Sunday and Monday 9 and 10 April

Get ready for an exciting Easter at the Leighton Buzzard Railway! We invite you to hop on board our Easter express - our Easter treasure hunt, golden tickets to find and an Easter bonnet competition mean it’s really going to be fun for the whole family.

The first train leaves at 10.30 and we will be running our blue service, this means a choice of five trains to ride each day behind one of our historic steam locomotives.

When you arrive at Pages Park you will be greeted by the Easter Bunny and their friends, you can then enjoy our 65-minute steam train ride along an exciting, three-mile route built over 100 years ago - can you count how many roads we cross?

As well as the journey, your visit includes a 25-minute stopover at our historic Stonehenge Works station. Here you will find a crafts and refreshments shop (featuring local artists' work), museum exhibits and a play area for the kids. For Easter we also have a treasure hunt, you get to keep any treats you find. There will also be limited number of Golden Tickets hidden around Stonehenge works, for the lucky few that find these you can exchange your ticket for a boxed Easter Egg at Pages Park! A maximum of 1 Golden Tickets can be redeemed per child).

On your return to Pages Park, we have our Engine Shed show where you can see our steam locomotives at rest, the fantastic Train Shed cafe and our brilliant gift shop.

New for this year! We are excited to announce our Easter bonnet competition, you can show off your creativity by bringing your own homemade Easter bonnet and enter to win a fantastic prize! Adults and children are welcome to participate and entering is easy - simply ask our friendly booking office staff, provide an email address for us to contact you on and smile for a picture!
