Imperial War Museums (IWM) – IWM is a family of five museums: IWM London; IWM North in Trafford, Greater Manchester; IWM Duxford near Cambridge; the Churchill War Rooms in Whitehall, London; and the historic ship HMS Belfast, moored in the Pool of London on the River Thames.

National Army Museum – the leading authority on the history of the British Army and a first-class museum that moves, inspires, challenges, educates and entertains.

National Railway Museum – the largest railway museum in the world, with almost 1 million visitors per year to sites in York and Shildon.

Froissy-Cappy-Dompierre Railway – the "Petit train de la Haute Somme" is the last remaining section of a large military network built during WW1. The site is situated right in the zone of the battle of the Somme (July to November 1916) where British and French armies had built a considerable network to prepare the offensive of July 1st 1916.

Matheran Hill Railway – a heritage railway in Maharashtra, India. The railway comes under the administration of the Central Railways. The railway covers a distance of 21 km (13.05 mi), over large swathes of forest territory connecting Neral to Matheran in the Western Ghats. UNESCO is considering giving world heritage status to the Matheran Light Railway.
